Black series

The black series brings together ten works painted on black aluminum panels, each 85 × 60 cm. The dark ground is part of every composition: wherever lines are scraped through the paint, the black returns, giving the bright color a structural edge. Within the series, the circles take many forms, from single radiating targets to dense lattices and sweeping serpentine curves.
